Can I renew an item or check another one out again right after returning it?
Answer
Equipment checkouts from Area 49 are not renewable. Also, there is a one hour buffer period placed on each item returned to the Area 49 Desk so it cannot be immediately checked out again by anyone. If we have more of that same item in stock you're more than welcome to check out one of those. This process is in place to allow equitable access to more students and to prevent patrons from keeping items for weeks at a time.
