What does "due date" mean when I check out an item?

The "due date" is the very last day that you can return any items that are checked out to you.
If you would like to return items earlier than the due date that is provided, you are more than welcome to do so. It is important that your items are returned on or before the listed due date to avoid any overdue fines.
