How can library instruction support professors and their courses?
Answer
Library instruction enhances student learning experiences and teaches students valuable information literacy skills.
Instruction services include:
- Online, web-based tools targeted to your discipline or course
- Collaboration with instructors to design research assignments and class activities that make the best use of library resources to ensure student success
- Faculty workshops to provide ideas for instructors to incorporate research skills throughout a course
All instruction services are available to any UNC Charlotte instructor, including Graduate Student Instructors (IORs) and Teaching Assistants (TAs).
If you have any questions, you can contact your subject librarian or the Instruction & Curriculum Engagement Librarian, Catherine Tingelstad
