I received an email that said my book was recalled. What does that mean?

Answer

A recalled book means that another person has requested the item that you currently have checked out. When that happens, the item you have checked out may have a shortened due date. The email notification will inform you if the due date has changed for your item.

Overdue recalled items accrue $1 fines each day that it is late, and we highly recommend returning the item to the library by the new due date to avoid any charges.
