I received an email that said my book was recalled. What does that mean?
Answer
A recalled book means that another person has requested the item that you currently have checked out. When that happens, the item you have checked out may have a shortened due date. The email notification will inform you if the due date has changed for your item.
We highly recommend, and appreciate, returning the item to the library by the new due date to avoid any charges and to allow others to use the item.
