What can I do in the Photogrammetry Lab?
Answer
Photogrammetry is a process that uses photographs to make a digital 3D model of a real world object. After you take many photographs of an object from all sides and angles, photogrammetry software processes those photographs into your 3D model.
In the Photogrammetry Lab, you can complete this process with our photogrammetry equipment, along with Agisoft software to make your own digital 3D model. You can also bring in photographs you’ve taken outside the library and upload those to the software.
You’ll need training to use the equipment and software in the Photogrammetry Lab. Training takes one hour and you can request a training session by emailing atkinsarea49@charlotte.edu
