Can instructors request streaming videos and films for classes?
Answer
Yes, instructors are able to request streaming films to use in their courses. Requests are limited to only three films per semester for each instructor, but there are some films we may not be able to find a streaming option for. The cost of streaming films is high and other format options may be suggested depending on a number of factors.
Graduate Student Instructors (IORs) can also request streaming videos for their courses. Teaching Assistants (TAs) can submit a request on behalf of their instructor.
To request a streaming film for your course, you can fill out the Electronic Course Material Request Form. You can also use this form to let us know that you found a film in our catalog and plan to use it for your course. By letting us know, we can try to make sure we don't lose access to the film.
