Does Atkins Library support users with accessibility issues?

Answer

The library strives to create an inclusive, accessible and welcoming environment for everyone that enters through the front door. Staff working at public service points will make every effort to accommodate accessibility requests.

You can find more information and resources online about the library's Accessibility spaces, services and resources, including:

  • Accessibility Inside the Library, such as specialized study spaces and seating, entrances and parking, elevators, etc.;
  • Overall services that can be used to assist you in person and online;
  • Our Report a Barrier Form where you can let us know if you've encountered a physical or digital barrier within the library.

If you have questions, comments, or concerns regarding accessibility in the library, you can contact our Patron Services Manager, Tracie Krumbine at tkrumbin@charlotte.edu or 704-687-1146.
